I apologize about the HUGE delay in response! I get so many spam messages on here that it takes me forever to go through them before finding real comments!

I did get to see the Amber Room, it was lovely! There were no photos allowed, but the work was really great! It’s too bad it’s not the original.

Thanks, Laura, for helping history become more than just words on a page. I intend to go to St. Petersburg and Pushkin(hopefully Tobolsk and Yekaterinberg too) soon, myself. I read Nicholas and Alexandra when I was 12 and my affection for them has never deminished. I like them and understand them, The real people that they were, not the caricatures that they have too often been portrayed as. I truly envy you.
